Teri Berry is a British felt-maker who lives and works in a small village near Guildford in Surrey, UK. She most enjoys making wearable art; quirky hats, bags, gloves etc and beautiful items for the home. She is always keen to experiment and stretch the boundaries of wool-felt and textile art. Although educated to doctorate level in the biological sciences and having worked in health care for many years she has always felt compelled to design and create. She completed a City and Guilds in Constructed Textiles (Felt-making) in 2014 and continues to draw on her scientific training and the natural world for inspiration in her textile art.
A member of the International Feltmakers Association since 2013, an international felt tutor, Teri has taught both children and adults and each year hosts a number of online courses via the Felting and Fiber Studio College of Felt and Fiber Arts as well as face-to-face sessions. Please see the workshops tab for a list of current and upcoming classes.
