In this class you will learn how to make a vessel from felted wool. I will explain how to lay out the fibres and share several ways you can decorate and cut open your pod to create a variety of shapes and designs. There will be a selection of silk hankies and other fibres for you to experiment with. Finally you will learn how to full (firmly felt) and shape your vessel so the felt is sturdy and keeps its shape.
The class fee includes wool, silks and other fibres to make and decorate your pod, as well as use of felting equipment.
This class is for adults and suitable for beginners.
