In this class we will use wet-felting techniques over a resist to make a seamless case with magnetic clasps that will be large enough to hold an iPad, tablet or other items. I will show you how to lay out wool over a resist, blend wool colours to achieve a gradual colour change and you will have the option to decorate your case with prefelt letters or shapes to personalise it.
You will also learn how add magnetic clasps so the attachments are invisible and I will share how I make sure the 2 halves of the clasp line up on the finished case.
Class fee includes wool, decorative prefelts and a magnetic clasp, as well as use of basic felting equipment.
This class is for adults, and is suitable for beginner and intermediate felt-makers.
