Using wet-felting and differential shrinkage techniques we will coax wool fibres to contort themselves into these shapely, hollow, spiral shells.

The class fee includes wool, silk hankies and felt pebbles, as well as use of basic felting equipment. More advanced felt-makers also have the option of adding spikes and other felted adornments.

This class is for adults, ideally with previous experience of wet felting over a resist.

Please bring: 

• a small pair of sharp scissors, with pointy tips. Embroidery scissors work well.
• a plastic bag or bin liner to take your damp felt and towels home in
• your lunch and/or some snacks (tea and coffee will be provided)
